Very interesting points, and Happy New Year to you too, TerryB.

I have maintained that the 2005 Tim Miller letter is calling out Bush among many of the crimes he committed, so it is very funny that you make that link.

Catseye has a picture that I have personally seen of Marilyn Monroe's funeral whereby Clinton is a little boy in attendance. He is also positioned as a president between the Bush's. When was Bush in charge of the CIA??? I have felt that there is a turning or black mailing on the handlers/government though I was not aware of infighting between CIA and FBI which would make sense of why I feel like he is trying to say he will blow up an info bomb if his wishes are not adhered to. Also, a hint of resentment towards the very government that made him who he was.

To figure out who that is, CIA or FBI, we have to take into consideration the evidence. From Lipstick Killer to all other researched crimes, the suspect claims that police and FBI have nothing on him. Then the 1991 Scorpion letters call out CIA code breakers. BTW, some of the handwriting in the 1971 Cooper letters match the handwriting on the 1991 Scorpion letters in overall gestalt. So, either he is CIA infighting with FBI, or he is truly FBI trying to make it look like he is calling them out, and finally he calls out CIA 1991, and they may have been who he was extorting all along. I will have to dive into this aspect to read for the truth of this notion. I note that on the reveal that all activity was by one person in the 2-6-1974 FBI FOIA file, other agencies that are listed is, Los Angeles - Sacramento - Bureau with numbers associated with them as if to say these are the offenses against each jurisdiction, and I believe the Bureau listed (2). I will have to check this for accuracy. Sacramento must be due to the nurses and other women killed and Los Angeles could only be Bauerdorf, Short, and the others killed before Riverside activity. Otherwise, why would these agencies be listed at all. Sacramento did not have a FBI agency until 1979 whereby they literally moved onto the plot where Jack used to reside in Sacramento. We know then that in 1974, Sacramento was listed as a police jurisdiction involved in the investigation of the Zodiac.

I have seriously felt that Jack was rebelling against his government, but at the same time, he is threatening to reveal them while still asking for work???

BTW, 1971 Denny would have been fresh out of Vietnam...And, you mentioned a second person! The eye witness accounts puts the likes of Denny at the Lake Berryessa murders as a strange person with much to do about nothing and not dressed as someone who would be at the lake for the purpose of being at the lake based on descriptions.

Let's consider some anniversary points of interest:
Nov. - Dec.1971 - Cooper - Canadian connection - hijacking in Washington and he is calling Portland, OR his home while mailing the last letter from Sacramento, CA
1991 - Scorpion letters - Moved into New Jersey - Though I question the actual date of these letters.
9-2001 - Bush in charge - Anthrax, Princeton, NJ - return address = 4th grader, but school is only found in Canada, not NJ
9-2005 - Tim Miller letter - Excepts claims for all the crimes I have listed while eluding to Anthrax, a Canadian connection,  calling out Bush, and NASA for some reason. There are a couple of other call outs that I have not figured out completely yet, but I think we will not be surprised once the pieces are put together.

There are so many connections it is hard to keep them straight, but I will add to these as it comes to me.

I am not surprised by Morrill's take on the handwriting, and less surprised that I put something together that had already been established, but extremely surprised that the likes of the trolls disseminating information in this case, felt the need to slam me for my findings which merely solidified that of Morrill's and others on this case during that time.

The only composite I have seen of Cooper is a well dressed, skinny face man with dark glasses on. So, I have no preconception of who he looks like, and because he wrote the FBI to tell them their composite was wrong, I don't hold my breath on the accuracy found on the internet.

Nanette, as you know, there's a lot to say about the Cooper caper. As you've said, the money being found on Tena bar doesn't seem to jibe whatsoever. The rubber binders being in good shape is nonsense vs the money being so tattered, just doesn't 'immediately' jibe . The three separate bundles being grouped together also doesn't 'immediately' jibe. I have a shorter hypothesis that might cover it in a couple of ways.

The drop Zone for Cooper would have been somewhere between the Lake Merwin area, down to the Battleground WA VOR area. I'm backing away from Battleground drop and think that the drop was further north, probably right after the Merwin dam. There are large clear areas there and I think that all of the technical facts support the notion that Cooper knew what he was doing and probably survived the jump and got away clean.

After the jet passed over the Battleground WA area, it crossed the Columbia river not too far south. A further study of the situation reveals that it's very unlikely but possible that the $5800 made it's way onto Tena Bar on it's own. Scenario #1 says it was planted there by someone. Here's another branch of reasoning that can be kicked around: Let's say Cooper removed $200 and put it in his pants pocket or billfold, then he puts $5800 in the overcoat/raincoat, the same of which becomes dislodged during the jump and gets caught on the stairs or another part of the plane, then it drops into the Columbia River. But this means that the three bundles had to have been bound together, then that could explain how the three bundles were found together, then the much tighter outer rubber binders break loose of the three packs later on. This is a hypothetical scenario but it could explain the situation.

If the Cooper caper was designed to embarrass the FBI, then maybe Cooper simply disposed of the rest of the ransom money. The drop zone area has been thoroughly gleaned, so I doubt that Cooper died in the jump.

LE and the FBI have been shifty on all of this stuff; Cooper, Bates, Zodiac, OCCK, Ramsey, etc.

I have claimed that Jack remained under the radar, and seemed to buy homes wherever he went without what seemed to be a job or savings. I wonder if this money getting dispersed in outer areas with small business and banks, if he could have sparingly and not to draw attention spend it in a way that it was never noticed. I am sure that not every bank sat to run serial numbers on 20 dollar bills. That just seems ridiculous, and the effort it would take to enter each one. It wasn't like we had scan recognition like we do for checks at the atms and smart phones today...

FBI is starting to look real shifty on this. Especially after I received Jack's military records which supposedly burned (not that I didn't believe what Jupiter put up, but I wanted to see for myself), the request for the bell top "a's" in interviews of suspects, and announcing all crimes that I claim are connected really are connected.

On the bank notes, they must have had some system of record keeping to keep track of the notes that get turned in.  Whether individual banks at that time were looking for certain notes is something that I'm not sure of.  I do know that when the Federal Reserve gets old bills in, they exchange them for newly issued bills and most likely records the bills serial numbers that come back in. They probably had fairly sophisticated automation to do this with by 1971. The prefix would group them and if certain bills of the prefix in question popped up, then you'd have your answer. Certainly it's probably done much faster nowadays. I know that it's important for them to keep track of the quantity bills still in circulation.

I think that the scenario I've come up with, tends to make the most sense, it explains the 10ea missing bills and it shows a mechanism for the bills to arrive on Tena Bar. I think that they were probably dredged up in 1974 and were then re-buried near the surface. But, of course, it's not the only possibility. Maybe the Ingram's found them elsewhere and didn't wanna reveal the spot? Maybe whomever was actually behind the heist wanted to paint a scenario that backs up the FBI's stated opinion that Cooper died in the jump? Another reason why I believe Cooper survived was because a feel falling body will only attain a maximum speed of about 100 MPH, so if it hit the water, it would have floated back up, especially after it begins to bloat from decay. Dogs would have found the remains by now, Armies of people have gleaned that whole area. He made that jump between 8:13pm and 8:20pm, probably right at  8:20pm. Cooper had far too much esoteric technical information to have messed up on the bail out, the list of information he had is rather large too. The evidence does strongly support him targeting the Battleground WA VOR, they have light towers next to the antenna array too. There are conflicting reports about how high the jet was flying too. The FBI documents claim an altitude as low as 2500 feet. But the 5000 foot reports make the most sense. 10,000 feet would give him the opportunity precisely 'fly' to the drop target. Body flying is said to slow the decent to about 80MPH. I believe it was a low altitude drop. I read today that paratroopers bail out a 150mph all the time, so he didn't necessarily tumble. You can tell that the FBI preferred the "he's dead"story.

Lou Smit said a Bloodhound should have been brought into the Ramsey case right away. You know they used dogs to search for Cooper.

Hi Nanette, I see that the Jack Tarrance handwriting thread is unlocked, you certainly don't have to do that for my sake. I like having that thread just way you have it. If you want me to briefly concur with it or any part of it, I'll be happy to do so(even though I'm not a handwriting expert). The only thing I think that I can comment on is the fact that you can see that he avoided using a top stroke/hat on his own J's. And.... of course the whole business of the small a's is an interesting subject too. Otherwise, it's nice having it uncluttered. It's a great piece of work that clearly and irrefutably demonstrates that Jack Tarrance penned all of the Zodiac killer documents. It makes it easy for any layperson to examine and follow.

Thanks for the heads up TerryB. I thought I was going to post one more slide for the night, but got tired and went to bed. I prefer to keep it uncluttered as well, and we really don't have anyone else posting, just lurking. I mainly keep it locked to keep all the handwriting together until it's done so it is not broken up. I welcome any thoughts on the handwriting, expert or not. I have a heavy load to carry, and sometimes I forget very important points.

Jack's "J's" are naturally done without the cross bar thus the Zodiac using them; however, Zodiac/Jack like anyone else who writes for the duration that he did eventually will leave the truth behind. The one "J" that Zodiac left behind with no top cross bar appears to be the most fluid and natural.

I think that the Zodiac only left the bell top "a" behind once or twice, but there are plenty of the high back "a's" that supports where the author is use to placing his pen when executing this letter. However, the bell top "a's" are in many other communications that involve identical crimes. We will see shortly how these other communications line up because I will be doing exactly what I am doing now between Zodiac and Jack with them, and the upside is that I have hindsight in my favor when connecting the nuance of the letters due to the enormity of them. The pattern will unfold in the dates as well. I have created a murder-letter-link analysis that I have yet to complete that will track whereabouts of mailings versus crimes and the location of Jack. It is very telling.

Thanks for the kudos... If there is anything you don't personally understand or that I can explain better, please let me know. I prefer that it be self-explanatory as possible, and if the layperson can understand it, we will have a much better time of getting support for it.

Nanette, I reviewed the old Leonard Nimoy narrated 'Unsolved Mysteries', DB Cooper episode. It's very cool. There are a couple statements made in it that I would now take issue with. For example; they proclaimed that instead of terrorism being the motive, that it was monetary. It's a pretty well done documentary and it does convey that Cooper was very sophisticated. They said that about a week before the hijacking, a small airplane was seen repeatedly criss-crossing the Lake Merwin dam area, they said that the dam is well lit at night. They said if Cooper managed to pull the ripcord, that he would have survived. He did pick the right kind of chute for that type of drop. They said that they believed that Cooper had experience in Vietnam, which goes to show that the government didn't exert the kind of mass media control like they've been doing since 9/11.

I'm back to leaning towards the Battleground WA VOR drop because of the timing of the abrupt trim changes noted in the jet at both 8:13pm and 8:20pm. 8:20 puts them closer to Battleground WA, and also might explain how the tattered $5800 was found at Tena Bar. I think that the bills being submerged might explain why the rubber binders were in good shape. Oxygen and UV tends to break down natural gum rubber, so I would tend to think that the water extended the rubber binders life. Then with the bills being dredged up and under an upper layer of sand would account for how brittle the bills were, coupled with the evidence that they weren't very faded. I would think that they should be able to determine how old the rubber binders were?
I've reconsidered what you've said about whether efforts were actually made to track the bills and you may be right on that?

Double Wow Nanette, I started a DB Cooper thread, I discovered a youtube video that decodes the cutout letter that was sent in 7 days after the heist. Zodiac Jack 101 hints galore! I'd like to put up all of the related Cooper documents in that thread. As well as the things we've explored and noted about the Cooper caper.

I would like the opportunity to examine the documents before making any definitive conclusions on anything, and I hesitate to voice my opinions on the immediate connections because if you are claiming an infighting between two agencies, how do we know whether or not one agency is copying the other in the next big "who dunnit"?

These crimes could legitimately be perpetrated by anyone of these agencies with proper knowledge on how the other works.

I don't claim with perfect certainty, that the CIA was behind the Cooper caper, I'm just reporting what I've read. The fact is that the Cooper caper was very very high tech and the FBI has downplayed that aspect of the Cooper caper. The average criminal is not gonna know all of the thinks needed to be known to pull off the hijacking.

I've found yet another website that implies that Cooper might have bailed out over Portland OR. Can I buy that? It would make more sense when it comes to the $5800 found on Tena bar. That money could have ended up on the stairs on the jet and blew off over the Columbia river. Had Cooper died in the jump, his remains would have turned up by now. For agent FBI Carr to say he thinks Cooper just tumbled when he bailed out, is bullshit. Cooper asked for a chest mounted parachute, which means he probably bailed out facing forwards, that would keep the sunglasses on his face, as well as his shoes on his feet.

When I see fanciful JT's integrated on the cutout envelope, I know that at a very minimum JT wrote the damn thing, because no one other than him fully appreciated that particular intentionally place nuance, at that time. Add that to the fact that the composer of the cutout message had inside crime scene knowledge is very suspicious indeed. It could simply mean that one or more key persons within LE relayed this information to JT and or his associates. So again, we have evidence of a conspiracy, there's no doubt about that when adding up the sum of the evidence.

Notice how tight lipped the crew were in the interviews that followed, that doesn't meant that someone didn't leak out the business of the clip on tie and other things, so an alternate explanation could be what happened. Once again, it's the totality of the evidence that charges my position.

It would make sense that he bailed out over Portland, OR, and would play right into the letter that reports, Back in Hometown PO which we know he would never let them know where he lived.

Could there be some reference in parachuting to "home" when referring to a landing spot? This might make the most sense in cross-connecting his landing point with the communication because I do not believe that he really gave them his home state. It just wouldn't do for Zodiac.

I got this stuff off off 'Sluggo's NW 305 Hijacking Research Website". I may be misreading his information but I don't think so. This aspect of the Cooper caper seems to have several variations that I just don't buy, like the reports that the plane was traveling further eastward. Those VOR's are gonna make that jet go in a very narrow and predictable pathway.

I am a laywoman when it comes to your acronyms, but what is VOR's? What would "home" mean in parachuting, do you know?
