Jupiter,

Your statement:

No, I don't believe that the Zodiac was 70 yrs old at the time of his crimes.

This is why I am tiring of your opposition, my patience grows thin, and I make statements, "in all your glory!" You adamantly claim that the facts drive you, and the simple fact that McFarland has tied BD to Z with the knowledge that Hodel would have been in or near his 70's at the time of the Z killings just boggles me. I am glad that at least you believe that Z wasn't 70, so can we please disregard any of McFarland's findings because they do not matter at all and almost proves that she was acting as a hired gun in reference to these cases. As far as I am concerned, Steve Hodel is a hired gun as well. Meant entirely to disuay the public from the truth just like Debra Perez to skew the findings and make it look as though Dennis is not right... I don't care if he wrote books before Dennis came to the forefront or not because most of these cover-ups happen way in advance of our knowledge as to why they are even happening. I have said it a million times, and I have no reason to repeat it after this post, Steve Hodel wasn't even taken seriously by his own society of LE, and by the time he claimed that BD and Z were tied together with his father as the culprit made him entirely and totally unbelievable....

So, I hope Jupiter with all your appeared intelligence (this is serious and not a stab), that you understand when I begin to cover the handwriting on this forum, I do not care to discuss McFarland's findings. Not because I wouldn't give it a fair shake, but because there is no need to waste the energy based on the plain and simple fact that she tied BD to Z, and we know Z wasn't 70 something! I worked backwards remember. I found that JT was in fact Z before figuring out that he was also BD and LK... This will be shown and thoroughly covered as to how I came to my conclusions. While I may have covered my findings on the letter formations, I have never thoroughly covered my connections based on the communications. I did not just cover the handwriting, but linguistics, spelling errors, and punctuation that conclusively matches JT without deterrence. There is nothing that Z did that JT didn't do in his own personal handwriting including the schematics drawn for the bus bomb. Let McFarland ever come close to saying that, and we will have something to talk about! Until then, do not mention McFarland on this sight again, or I will be forced to remove you based not only on ignorance, but the lack of ability to see and recognized evidence that disproves hers and Hodel's claims.

  • I do believe that Jupiter delivers as you said TerryB, "psuedo-polite invalidations." I don't think I could have said that better myself. It is how people nicely tell you to f'off... Without ever saying the actual words...

I believe Hannah McFarland got it wrong. However, getting it wrong doesn't almost prove that she is a hired gun. It just means, she got it wrong. A statement like yours could be very injurious to her career and as someone who has been subjected to similar false and outrageous accusations by Kaufman, catseye, and others, it's surprising that you would put something like that out there without any substantiating evidence.

The reason I mentioned discussing her report with you was because of the similarities between her work and yours, not because I'm trying to convince you that she's right and you're not. I believe that McFarland made an honest and diligent effort to come to her conclusions; just because I don't agree with them doesn't invalidate her work or her integrity. I could make the same statement regarding my feelings about your work. If you don't want to review McFarland's report, it's not a problem. It would have merely added another dimension to the discussion.

If I wanted to tell someone to f'off, I would do just that. I'm not passionate enough about this case to have distrust or hatred for someone who disagrees with my opinions, so there's no need for me to put such effort into framing my responses to come off as pseudo-polite. If I disagree, I say it, and I have said it here. I say it respectfully because people deserve respect; it's up to the reader to interpret things as they wish. When I joined the board, you welcomed me despite knowing that I was not of the same mind as you with regard to Jack's involvement. I've participated in discussions, at your invitation, when asked my opinions on certain matters. I have even gone to the lengths of asking your permission to post about a particular topic or allow you to preview what I had to say before I posted it, because it's your board and if you don't want certain material on it, it shouldn't be here. I'm responsible only for the way I handle myself and the way I treat others, and I've done nothing that I feel requires an apology. Someone else's response to my words is framed by their individual set of circumstances and are beyond my control.

I suppose asking politely not to bring up a person on this board falls on deaf ears, but I will respond to your thoughts about my statement of her and the treatment of me by Dennis and others. The treatment by Dennis and others were out and out lies, and there is no other way to explain why she would have made such a fundamental mistake as she did by claiming that Hodel was also part of Z killings. As a document examiner, it is our responsibility and due diligence to make sure that we do not muck up the waters or confuse the public as to our abilities, and knowing the age of someone and whether or not they could have even been remotely involved with a case is our job, so yes I can make the statements I make because it is wholly irresponsible, unethical, and immoral to report on handwriting with the knowledge that it is impossible for someone to have been part of a crime. That tells me she had no care or concern for disparaging a man who isn't even alive to defend himself in regards to accusations that are entirely impossible for him to have been a part of. I did nothing wrong by making my statement, I only told the truth. There is no way I would ever consider accusing someone knowing that there is not even a remote chance they could have been involved....

I will be erasing your last message Jupiter because again, you are evading the truth and evidence, and I can't seem to get it in your head that there IS NO WAY HODEL WAS Z...IT DOES NOT MAKE A DAMN BIT OF DIFFERENCE TO REVIEW SOMEONE'S REPORT THAT OBVIOUSLY HAS THE FUNDAMENTAL ASPECTS AND EVIDENCE OF THE CASE SCREWED UP!!! I don't care how close our findings our if the wrong person is blatantly being accused. All it does is give more publicity to something that does not belong having any at all, and makes people wonder who is right when there is no question as to who is right. Why would anyone including you entertain any report by someone who obviously has things so completely wrong? That is irritating and a waste of my time and energy even to address this! Go psychoanalyze other boards for why people do what they do, this board is not your personal play toy. If you are not satisfied with this, you are welcome to not return to this board. I have no personal feelings for someone hiding behind a screen name and as TerryB said, pseudo-polite invalidation's, and you know darn well that is what you are doing. You take every chance you have to tell me that you don't believe JT was the culprit. If you have no other evidence to support your theories other than a handwriting expert could get it wrong, then you need not participate here. I have worked 1,000's of hours on this handwriting which is far more than any other expert, reviewing, reconsidering, revisiting, and the answer in the end is always the same. The only explanation for the complete match on handwriting, linguistics, punctuation, and drawings is that the culprit is JT. If there is anything I have learned from my experience in this industry, it is that there would have been substantial differences found if it wasn't him, and those differences do not exist.

Like TerryB said, I do not need time consuming and energy zapping conversation to make my day go round. I am half tempted to close this board to everyone because it is meant purely to show the world what LE is doing in regards to this case, and I don't need others to prove that. My story speaks volumes!!!

Also, let me add, if she was concerned about her reputation and what people thought or how someone reviewing her work (aka peer review) would perceive it, she would not have allowed her opinion to be printed and published in a book so erroneously. The reason why I say she was a hired gun is because she was paid to render her opinion regardless of any truth about the possibility of Hodel being a killer. I was paid nothing, and tediously combed over every aspect of the handwriting, my findings, and opinion with great care to ensure that I was not making a mistake before going against my mentor and taking the chance of losing my position as an apprentice.

If someone had said I was wrong, I would politely disagree as I have done with you Jupiter. The slanderous statements from DK had nothing to do with me being wrong. He accused me of forgery and lying, not simply getting it wrong, so there is a distinct difference between what I am saying about the mistakes McFarland has made and what DK or others have attempted to ruin my reputation with. There are hired guns in every aspect of the law, and this is widely known by the public. The thing that sets me apart is that I have never even received a dime for my work. Period, end, dot....

This is why I have been somewhat edgy with Jupiter, it's the waste of time thing, I guess that on the other hand it offers us an opportunity to verbally dispel some of these things.

Dennis Kaufman has been dead wrong to do what he's done to Nanette, period. He's offered no evidence of wrongdoing on her part....because there is no evidence that she's done anything wrong. It's hard for me to support him because of that. I had catseye pegged a long time ago. Catseye bailed on Nanette just as soon as Dennis started his negative nonsense, this shows that catseye is a fair weather friend. Some could say that about me with regard to Dennis because I have tried to remain friendly with both Nanette and Dennis but Dennis is and has been wrong and I have the PM's that confirm that his real issue or reason for the fight has nothing to do with her doing anything wrong.

Hodel's dad was a womanizer not a woman hater, there's plenty of evidence to support that statement and not a bit of evidence linking him to any murders, period.

Hang in there Nanette, the truth will eventually prevail.

I'm not evading the truth and evidence because I wholeheartedly agree with you that George Hodel did not commit any of the crimes his son accuses him of, and I came to those conclusions after reading both of Steve Hodel's books.

In those books, Steve Hodel said that when he presented HM with the documents written by his Dad, he did not identify who the author was in an effort to maintain her objectivity. As such, she would have had no way of knowing how old George Hodel was at the time of the crimes and this would not have factored into her analysis. She made her match based just on the handwriting, so, again, I don't feel that she was swayed by money or publicity when she came to the conclusions she did. I still think she's wrong, but she came by it honestly, at least.

When I joined the board you welcomed me and stated, "I do not have a problem with differing opinions as long as like you said there is no name calling, personality bashing, or any other type of rude or insulting behavior".
I've stuck to the rules that you laid out and was under the impression that you didn't mind me hanging around. I don't feel I've pestered or insisted that anyone prove their case to me at the expense of moving forward with your research, which I could see as being a waste of your time. I've responded when my opinion was asked for and I've brought some things to the table, such as some of Jack's military records, letting you know that Naval Station Great Lakes was in North Chicago, helping to piece together a timeline of Jack's whereabouts in 1975-1977, clarifying the use of mitochondrial DNA, and suggesting you look into the possibility of the existence of fingerprints from Jack's 8/22/83 arrest for assault and battery in Sacramento.
It seems you're no longer as interested in my differing opinions as you initially expressed, and I've got no problem with that. As you've said, you've invested a lot of your time and effort into this case and for me it is merely a hobby. I don't have to continue to post here if you feel it's that big of a distraction, but I'm comfortable knowing that my conduct was respectful and dare I say, at times, helpful.

[Edited to add- I also provided the link proving "Dave" posted the handwritten I-45 letter years before Nanette's involvement, thereby showing Kaufman lied about her forging the letter. And, I gave my full name, Michaela Phillips, on this board months ago when TerryB accused me of hiding behind a username.
(the JT101 thread, 6/23/12); so I'm not hiding anything from anyone]

So why interject the Hodel business if you think McFarland got it wrong ? She's wrong, period, her workmanship stinks to say the least.

Loaded statements like: "clarifying the use of mitochondrial DNA" since when? No way have you done that.

You act as though a perfect trail of the exact whereabouts of Jack Tarrance and any point in time is obtainable or can be affirmed, that just doesn't always happen in the real world, we've addressed the anomaly  of what could have happened.... because we are more than satisfied it was his handwriting in for example: the Lipstick killer case, for Christ's sake: I've even stated where to find exact matches to the very peculiar and unique backwards stemmed "t's" in that and other cases especially Zodiac killer documents.

You've brought up the alleged 8/22/83 arrest of Jack Tarrance  for assault and battery in Sacramento, no one else has, therefore it's incumbent upon you to substantiate that claim with valid documents and ....what about it ? Where are the fingerprint images then?

A friend of mine tonight told me that Fox News has reported Clinton and Obama signed a ban on assault weapons with the UN two weeks before the dastardly attacks on Sandy Hook elementary school, I haven't yet confirmed that as a fact but it wouldn't surprise me if it was true because that would fit with the rest of some of the very disturbing behavior of portions of the federal government.

Jupiter, while I feel much the same way TerryB does about your interjection of HM, I do feel that you have been fair enough and polite enough to respond to your last post.

How do you know that she was provided no evidence other than the handwriting in order to remain objective? This seems to be inside information...

Also, this seems that Steve Hodel set her up for failure with the exception that LA officials tout her for her abilities even though she was not given pertinent information that would have otherwise caused her to decide in a different fashion??? Albeit we generally attempt to do our jobs minus any outside information, age in most contents can say a lot. I may not want to know any outside information that may skew my opinion on the opening of any case, but at some point there are things I want to know, like: were they suffering from any neurological diseases; is there a difference in age, say from 18 to 40 years of age because things mature, not that they change but they may have grown into something new, and I should still see traits that are common to the individual. (I have proved this with the handwriting kept from my best friends from the age of 12-15 without ever having any belief that I would be in this field 20 years later, but that I have always felt a need to keep the handwriting communications from my most important people in my life, and I am about to prove this with that of a friend from the age of 10 who still has a habituation that continues onto the age of 39, and it is significant evidence enough to prove there is particular evidence in handwriting that you can always count on.) There are things just like described in the Aphrodite Jones Investigative Discovery Channel episode that proves you cannot stop doing things that are indicative of which you are even if you attempt to disguise them. These are the things I wish people to focus on.

So Jupiter, are you saying that Steve Hodel and former LE officials set her up for failure? I would not be surprised that they did to obtain their ultimate objective which was to skew the evidence in this case.

I am not beyond feeling like everyone sent to me was here to either waste my time or to send me on a wild goose chase. You cannot hardly blame me considering, the opposition that I have faced and will continue to face. I am not a conspiracy theorist, but the way I have been treated causes me to question anyone who feels the need to help me out. I will have the arrest records checked out now that it has been brought to my attention in a time that I can concentrate on the things that matter the most.

When I take a case, my first consideration is not what they have to tell me, but just send me the handwriting so I can come to my own conclusions, and after my first exam I always have questions that I expect to be answered when I am ready to ask them, and they should have no hesitation to do so! If and when I ask them will tell me a lot about the case I am dealing with. To say that HM never asked any questions?, is to say that she was a hired gun. I have had cases where a note was signed as an 18 year old, and now it is 20 years later in which they became a doctor and their signature is completely different than the signature they would have executed at the age of 18. Age is very important when it comes to someone’s: promise to pay; capacity/legality/capability to execute a contract; and, last will and testament versus their signature at the age of 18. These are simple things that should be considered by any doc examiner. Not so much because their natural handwriting would change, but that their signature may have dramatically changed based in maturity, longevity, and the job at hand. Also, there is an expectation that if someone is being honest with you, they will give the pertinent information, like, were they old enough or too old, was there a reason to deny the handwriting, or were they going to benefit from the forgery to do so. In a case of disguised handwriting, there are simple questions that should be answered; are they old enough or young enough to have perpetrated the disguised handwriting. Too young would not lend to the ability to disguise, and too old would have left a significant handwriting signature to have been able to exclude them. I.E. was DP old enough to have executed a disguised handwriting at the age of 7???? I know that my 7 year old two times over could not have executed the perfectly disguised handwriting of the Belli letter to a point that could not have been deciphered by LE at that age. NO QUESTIONS ASKED… PEOPLE, BEFORE ADDRESSING THIS STATEMENT, please look at your writing of your 7 year old before responding, and if you don’t have children, please do not attempt to respond because again, I  have kept all handwriting from every grade of many children, and there is nothing to compare to when DP says she wrote the Belli letter when she was nothing more than a malnutrition 7 year old, uneducated, sleeping on a dirt floor when adopted by the great man Guy Ward Hendrickson out of Mexico that she was, and only came to an aged adult who knowingly and notoriously accused him of a crime so hideous as to disparage his character after he was no longer alive to defend himself…

Might I add, she was just claiming to be the illegitimate love child of JFK a mere 11 months before claiming that her biological father was GWH who was the Zodiac Killer.

Hodel wrote about it in Black Dahlia Avenger. When he first presented her with the writing in the Black Dahlia and Jeanne French murders, he wrote:
pg. 274
Quote:
In engaging Ms. McFarland I did not reveal to her, nor did she know, the connections between or the names of, any victims. Nor did she know the name of the suspect or his connection to me. All she knew was that the crime had occurred during the mid-1940's somewhere in California and that it involved the suspect writing on the body of the victim using lipstick. I did not inform her that the samples were from two separate crimes. I did not tell her that some of the documents had been previously analyzed by questioned document experts at the time of the crimes. I wanted her opinions to stand alone.

Quote:
In the samples I submitted to her, all the "Black Dahlia Avenger" signatures were excluded to avoid identifying the specific crime.

I would assume he did the same for the Zodiac samples he gave her, but I don't have access to Hodel's Most Evil to verify that. I borrowed the e-book version of his BDA online today through my library, but they didn't have his other book available in that format. I don't have plans to go to the library in person any time soon, but if I do I'll try to thumb through it and confirm that.
From what he writes, it looks like he was just trying to eliminate any outside influence on her findings and just wanted her to look at the handwriting and not consider anything else. I don't view this as intentionally setting her up for failure but rather as an attempt to maintain her neutrality in the case. I'd assume it is Hodel's feeling that this would make her analysis more believable.
I don't know what types of questions HM may have asked Hodel after her review of the handwriting. It could be in his books, but it wasn't in the handwriting chapter of BDA. I did not enjoy the books the first time through so I won't be wading through them again to find out- I don't think I'd have that much patience!

I definitely don't blame you for being suspicious of everyone who participates in the message board. You have been the subject of some pretty nasty, vile attacks and that is enough to make anyone dubious of a new poster's intentions.

All of Deb Perez's claims were outlandish, especially that she wrote some of the letters/codes and sewed the symbol on the Zodiac hood! The Belli letter was clearly penned by an adult and for her, or anyone else, to suggest a child could have done it, well, that's just too ridiculous.

Ok, I am glad that we can come to some conclusion on this whole subject, and put it to rest.

Nowhere does these statements from Hodel's book elude to anything other that BD. There is no statement in regards to the Z case which must mean that she made these connections per Hodel until later books, and after I rendered my opinion in DK's case.

Next, he does not say that there are no demographics given on the person, but that he did not reveal the suspect's name or his relation, so this does not conclude other aspects such as age, male or female, where they lived at the time and so forth.

Then, I have heard more than at least 2 times from the person who was doing my peer review on this case that there is 1,000,000 people on this planet that would share some of the same characteristics. While I truly believe this, there is no way that anyone else other than one individual would share the same level of fine and subtle habituation that we see in every letter of the alphabet(lower case and upper case), linguistics, punctuation, and spelling errors as we see consisting between JT and Z. Let's not mention the archaic electrical designs that both use the sun as a power source, and the overall gestalt of the design is very consistent. Here’s the kicker, there is no way to say what the age of that 1,000,000 people would be, so it is very necessary to know that tidbit of evidence because what if 300,000 of the 1,000,000 people who share consistent traits on this planet were only 17 to 25 years old, wouldn’t that naturally exclude them from the possibility of being the suspect considering the composite and eye witness claim that the suspect in the Z case was 35/45???? And, what if another 300,000 never lived in that area during the time frame of the crimes??? What if there were 4 different races that a person in that day could be defined as(Hispanic, African American, European American, White, and Oriental) I do not know the statistics of the time, but white seemed to be the coinciding factor which might exclude ¾ of the other 4,000,000 people with the capability. Now let’s break them down to availability and time… Many people have full time jobs and never resided in more than one city, let alone state, in their life. I know, I am one of those people, and I have never resided in any other state than California… These are very narrowing factors. Now, who has a hatred for their mother like JT… That gets even fewer. Can you see how these facts boil down the pool of possibilities? I have consistently mentioned that George Hodel’s high status of a doctor during his time would not lend to the non-chalant behavior of a serial killer.

Now, let's discuss the handwriting from BD excluding Jeanne French, though I believe that the killer is one and the same, seeing how I haven't made it through this part of my board.

1. I gave this presentation before the LAPD Cold Case Detective Mitzi Roberts, and whom she told me was her commander. I watched their reactions to my presentation as I did Chris Hopkin's from the FBI, and the demeanor of the Napa Police/Sheriff's dept. (NPD) The one thing I have learned from different conversations with different LE agencies, is that there are certain things that intrigue and grasp their very being that would not otherwise do so in any other situation where they were presented with evidence as compelling as I delivered. The difference between NPD and the others, is that NPD did not want me to show them the presentation, or to deliver my findings, but more or less took info, names to Chris Hopkins and other agencies we had talked to for reference, and never said "BOO" in regards to what we gave them as if there was absolutely no interest in what we had to say or any need to follow up on a valid lead.

I can tell you that when I delivered the BD handwriting presentation, and DK his negatives, both of them sat and listened, and to a certainty I assure you that while I was explaining the presentation, they were nodding away with what anyone with half a brain understood when it came to the letters delivered by this suspect:

1.    I had every person’s agreement in the room that the suspect attempted to disguise his handwriting using capitals letters that can be seen in pretty much every communication in the BD case except for the “Turning in”…”Had some fun with the police” letter as I recall, but I am getting to revisit this here real soon.

2.    There are intermittent dropping of lower case letters which would indicate that the individual more often than not used proper upper case with lower case printing. This shows through when a lower case letter dropped in the middle of upper case writing. Most engineers, like JT, LE, drafter’s, and contract writers will do this because of the ease to read by others. The letter “I” most probably has no top or bottom bars due to the ease of moving on for someone who consistently writes in all caps, but all other letters would be proper upper case. We see the dropping of lower case a’s and e’s , and I am sure others as we will see when it is posted. My main point is that people cannot hold onto disguised changes. There is a strong difference between those who write upper case full time versus those that write in proper capital and lower case printing. There are some people who will use this only with the job they perform, and there are those that do not use a separate writing in their personal life. I learned this very on. I might use all upper case writing for the job I was on when I met my first doc examiner, but when I got home and wrote personal notes or notes to others, I used proper upper case and lower case writing. This pretty much means that I did not have to be as anal at home as I was at work…

3.    All of us agreed that there was a definite attempt to disguise.

4.    If this disguised handwriting matched GH’s natural writing this should be of question as to the doc examiner’s agenda, it would be an anomaly that anyone would write a natural letter in hopes of getting caught! Huh? Especially when the MO appears to be that someone killed so they could write about it rather than a certain way of killing as the identifying characteristic. This is setting up someone for failure, especially if you do not warn of a possible disguised handwriting due the nature of the crime. Contrary to popular belief, serial killers are not trying to get caught. Only the most narcissistic/psychotic write about it, and think they won’t get caught. Not like the stupid criminals of today who video tape and you tube/my-space/facebook their deeds only to get caught if the right LE agency is perusing the Internet on the right day.

5.    There is a ritual to what is being done, and it always starts out small, and grows from there. I have always maintained and shouted that Z did not start killing one day at 35/45 and then just commit 7 crimes later and quit with the amount of writing that was perpetrated with no solid lead on that handwriting.

I have recent information in regards to the peer review on the Z handwriting, and I will post it in the proper forum, Universal Deceit, so it is not interrupted by the other thoughts and theories. I do think that it is an interesting read considering it does not differ from the efforts of others put into this case, but seeing that I am honest about all my endeavors in this case, I figured it was worth sharing considering the resistance I have received from the very people I paid more than $12,000 to be trained by.

Is the resistance you spoke of related to (Redacted) support of Perez's silly claims, or was there some other wall you came up against with your instructors regarding this case?

Yes, the analysis done for Hodel’s Black Dahlia Avenger covers only the Jeanne French and Elizabeth Short murders. The Zodiac analysis was done at a later time. I suspect the information on the Zodiac analysis is presented in Most Evil because that is the book in which he tried to link the Zodiac murders to his father. The next time I go to the library, I’ll flip through it and see if I can find information regarding how he came to present that series of handwriting to HM. Since there were several years between her work on the Black Dahlia writing and the Z writing, I would guess she would no longer recognize/remember what George Hodel’s handwriting looked like when she got to looking at the Z letters. However, it’s possible that when she did the comparison against Zodiac’s writing, regardless of what information Hodel did or did not provide her at that time, that she could have known, or at least suspected, that Hodel was giving her more of his father’s writing. As such, regardless of whether or not he was again trying to retain her objectivity by keeping her in the dark about the crimes and the suspect, some bias may have creeped in if she suspected she was again looking at George Hodel’s writing.

You and I are interpreting his statement, “ All she knew was that the crime had occurred during the mid-1940’s somewhere in California and that it involved the suspect writing on the body of the victim using lipstick” differently. To me, this means that those were the only 2 pieces of information she had about anything related to the materials, crime, or suspect he had given her.

The book in which he tries to connect his father to the Zodiac was released in September of 2009, but based upon a date in the introduction of that book, as well as a posting on his blog (http://207.56.179.67/steve_hodel/2009/09/-was-forme-r-san.html and http://www.stevehodel.com/evidenceroom/?p=397 ) he had completed the book and HM had performed her exam by December of 2008. I don’t recall exactly when you went public with your analysis, but I think the second book may have been done a little bit before Kaufman enlisted your help in the case.

It’s absolutely true that most involved in the Z case (LE and previous document examiners) believe that the Zodiac attempted to disguise his handwriting in the letters. I won’t be able to say with certainty that HM came to this same finding regarding her comparison of George Hodel to Z until I have a chance to flip through that second book. But in Hodel’s first book, regarding the Short and French murders, she felt that the writer had tried to disguise his handwriting in those cases because in her opinion she writes:

“And it appears the author deliberately altered their handprinting, except for the snapshots, to avoid identification.”

I’m assuming snapshots refers to photos of Hodel’s that she was provided with as exemplars. At least for those two crimes, she didn’t feel that those communications were in the perpertrator’s natural hand, so maybe she came to the same conclusion about the Z writings. But again, I don’t have that second book handy, so I can’t check to see if it was mentioned anywhere in her opinion.

I know you've state previously that Dennis has gotten a bit of a run around from the FBI lately, but have you gotten any further feedback from LAPD's Roberts or anyone else in that department regarding what you presented?

This is why I appreciate your input Jupiter, and have not banned you from my board. I have not read your post entirely, and I promise to address every issue in your post. But, I must declare at this point in time, I am moderator, and I have subscribed to every thread in this forum, but I did not receive your last post on my Blackberry or email that even indicated you made this post, and this is very disconcerting to me. What I have read so far has made sense.

Yes, as a good document examiner who is invested in each case they do, should recognize handwriting they have examined and reviewed at any given time. It is our job to put 2 and 2 together. When I was approached tonight with the doc examiner who I would be going up against here shortly, I automatically remembered who they had peer reviewed my findings for my own client in a previous case. While it may have taken a moment to recognize which case that was, I still found it, called the client, and confirmed that they had found me spot on in their case, and it was over 2 years ago that I worked on that case. Yes, she should have recognized the handwriting she examined, and yes she should have recognized that there was a 20 or so year difference and naturally questioned the age of the suspect. No different than when I found out who would be against me in the up and coming case. This is just one more chance that I get to prove that some examiners are hired guns. I promise this will come to light, and I will show the Internet world that this does exist.

There isn't one case that I have worked on that I couldn't recall from memory whether or not it was the handwriting I was looking at. I do pro bono work after such extensive work has been done on a case because it does not seem fair to charge the client for something that would take me 5 minutes or less to determine, especially after having done such extensive work on other documents that renders me nearly a professional in identifying the handwriting at hand.

I cannot help but believe that the resistance from now 3 mentors from my school who have declined to even review the handwriting before trying to talk me out of my opinion, that there is reason to continue to hang on and hold strong to my beliefs about this case, but the handwriting speaks volumes. I will continue to declare that there is no other person in this world that would match the handwriting upper and lower case, punctuation, linguistics, and overall gestalt like JT will, but you are right, the resistance comes from those I paid to train me. The most disappointing revelation is a doc examiner who told me they would review my handwriting results, and they knew exactly which case I was requesting a review on, but tell me months later and after I had expended the cost to copy every single document, copy my condensed findings to CD making it easy for them, and paid to mail it to them, that they didn't see any interest in doing so even though I put up their mother for the night, and put myself out for them when it was apparent it wasn't need... I am not sure exactly why I put up their mother for the night when she could have driven straight through considering their last layover was in Redding, a mere 3 hours from me, and a mere 10 hours from where they were going. I feel like I was used again due to my need to please people... One day, I will learn to say no, and recognize when I am being taken advantage of. This is pure crap!!!

Consecutively speaking, I have had to date, 3 doc examiners who has promised a peer review when needed, who has left me handing in the wind. Isn't that a nice outlook for this industry. Do not attempt to school yourself or rely on the people you have paid to do the job that they promise... Lesson learned, and it's not a great one. Changes are on the way...

The fact that these people feel they could screw with the likes of me speaks volumes for their graphology careers... They should have known based on my handwriting, that I am not the one. I am as honest as the day is long, and eventually there will be a shift change. Hide behind what you don't understand, but so far, I have seen karma work at its best, and everything comes around. You may be satisfied with your career and lifestyle at this point in time, but most people should be concerned about the future. This is why I operate with the morals and ethics that I do today because eventually your unethical nature and immoral behavior will catch up to you, and the last time you want that to happen is when you are in your old, retired age, where you expect that you should have comfort.

A shift change will occur before you know it, and you will be caught right in the middle of your young age defaults with the demise of the lack of ability to take care of yourself. I promise this!!! Everything that goes around comes around, and I have witnessed this first hand.

Nanette,

There were a couple of interesting things that I gleaned from Steve Hodel's book but he never presented
any compelling evidence of his fathers involvement other that his father being on a long list of possible suspects.

On the other hand, everything about the Black Dahlia case screams Zodiac Jack 101 and it has the JT initial clues as well, at least twice, the Ed Burns note is typical game of our prime suspect, so are the taunting notes and mailings along with several other Zodiac Jack clues.
