Lately in my quest to catch up on the Cooper caper, I've been reviewing many postings on youtube that are linked to the Zodiac killer keyword. I came across one that reviews the northern California, June 4th 1963 double murder of Linda Edwards and Robert Domingos. It's listed on Tom Voights site as "possible Zodiac victims". I would have commented on this 5 part posting but that feature was disabled. While I can't state with certainty what kind of person was behind the double murder, I doubt that it was JT. After shooting the victims repeatedly with a 22 rifle, the killer dragged them to an old shack and tried to light the shack on fire. Missing from the reports were any signs of the victims or cops being taunted. So, I doubt that it was another Zodiac murder, but who knows?

Also, I came across Geraldo Rivera's "Now it Can Be Told", Zodiac killer episodes. In it, they make some pretty good points that show that the Zodiac persona was a ruse to cover up evidence that the murders stemmed from drug trafficking. I've said for quite some time now that I've felt that the Zodiac persona was a put on, I do think that the drug trafficking angle makes the most sense in light of all of evidence combined. For example, there's no doubt that Darlene Ferrin was being stalked and that the killer knew her by her nick name. The Geraldo episodes strongly hints at the involvement of at least one police officer. This makes the most sense to me in light of what the pattern of law enforcement behavior has been, surrounding all of the case that we've attributed to Zodiac Jack. From one end of Zodiac Jack's career, to the other, 'racketeering' comes up as the common denominator.

Jack was said to have done and made his own drugs. I don't know for how long, but Dennis gives Jack credit for showing him how. I believe that the Domingos murders are in my timeline to research, but I have only gotten to Lipstick Killer on the PowerPoint Presentation, so I have a bit to go. Don't let the lack of taunting deter your thoughts from it being Zodiac. There are many he did not talk about... I am not saying that it is him, but you never know when the Zodiac is referring to crimes in the past or future, and he said his crimes would like accidents, arson, and suicide.

As far as an officer involved, I tend to believe that their are sleepers in just about every area of law enforcement, so it would make sense how Jack was so well covered, and dirty cops are a plenty during that time.

Nanette, regarding the Domingo's case, unless you have some additional information on that, here are the reasons why I'm not convinced that it was the work of Zodiac Jack and Co: 1) The male victim was shot several more times than the female 2) the killer dragged the bodies to a shack and tried to burn the shack, meaning concealment vs leaving them on display 3) the females top was cut open displaying her breasts, which tends to show he was sexually interested in females 4) the crime scene was in a remote area of northern California 5) I've seen no reports of a taunting of the victims or police, or letters or postcards.

The only other limited clues, was some talk about Edward Domingo taking over a family run farm but I haven't confirmed that report. If that's true, that might point to motive? There also was a report that the ammunition was probably purchased from a military base, if true, that might point back to Zodiac Jack and Co?

Superficially, the crime reads as maybe having been done by a thwarted suitor, or maybe having been done by some trigger happy kook?  I haven't made a firm conclusion on the Domingo's murder case.
