Jupiter, please understand, I am talking about handwriting as it relates to Zodiac/Jack, based on these findings I am requesting that other crime sprees be considered due to the availability of JT in these areas and/or a consistent match in handwriting/linguistics that should not occur within 1:8,000,000 ratio, and if JT can be linked to these areas where similar crimes/M.O.'s have occurred, we should not rule him out unless there is direct evidence to do so. Zodiac is the beginning in this solve, but there was much more before and after that I believe as a handwriting expert can be explicitly wrapped around the Zodiac persona. I would be happy at any point to concede to JT's involvements if anyone could show me why he shouldn't be considered outside of the handwriting evidence, but so far, no one has been able to achieve this. There is a reason for it, and everything surrounding these cases. I have been told to research the people/corporations that are profiting from this case to determine where the lack of solve is coming from and the hate people who seem to beside themselves because of my findings. These people will lead us to the truth....

I think that in addition to the handwriting evidence, there are several shared characteristics about the Chicago Lipstick murders that are found in the other crimes listed here, especially the business of the linkage between the Black Dahlia murder/dismemberment is very compelling.

Elizabeth Short's last letter to Fickling stated that she was going to Chicago with "Jack" to do some modeling. E. Short was said to be fixated with the Chicago lipstick killings. Perhaps her mouth was cut wide open to serve as a message that she "had a big mouth"? It's also been reported that the suspect had a "JW" tattoo on his arm. DK reported this on his blog.

The very graphically violent images that DK produced as being the former property of Jack Tarrance are very compelling. Just the fact that Tarrance had these kind of photos in his possession is very telling.

The Chicago Lipstick murders in themselves has other connections to unsolved murders that occurred after Black Dahlia in the Riverside area I believe whereby the Red Lipstick murders/Red Phantom Murders all tie into one and another due to writing in lipstick and so forth. I sometimes wonder if there really are sickos out there who strive to be linked to other murders? Why would you take any punishment for something you didn't do, this is not instinctively in the human nature. There would have to be a benefit for doing so, and just maybe, looking at this angle could give some insight as to why Karr claimed JBR.

Those pics that DK later claimed was the property of his sister or something??? He first said they were JT's, and then his supposed brother-in-law claimed that they were of DK's sister's baby's daddy or something like that... I just know that they were graphic, not police pics, and obviously when the damage was fresh. Who and how did these pics even end up in the possession of this family at all??? I tend to believe that DK acquired them by telling someone he could solve the crime. He liked to tout himself as a  good investigator with FBI resources and other such abilities/connections. He has never proven to me that he could get anything done by LE or otherwise. He could work a free meal, but certainly not an investigation.

Nanette, I know some vintage cars rather well. The light colored car on the end of the row, in the power plant picture, is a 1950 Plymouth, I owned one at one time. That's the newest one in the picture from what I can see.

I wanted to post this on the Lipstick thread.

Yes, I was noticing while researching cars today that the ones in the pic do seem to be 1950 models from what I can tell or at least late late 40's. I also know that a 1950 could be purchased in late 1949, but that is still after the fact. That would make JT about 21-22 in the Illinois pics; however, that does not rule JT out because we still have Flova Wiltamuth in Chicago, Ill. in 1944 after selling the farm in Texas and/or training in Great Lakes for the military. I believe that JT did pass an IQ test and would have been sent for immediate training in his given field of aptitude. I found a pic earlier that I thought might have been JT in a tan military get-up, but I thought I better compare the handwriting before making that judgment call. It looked like it could have been JT, but he looks so different in every picture I have of him it's unreal!

Ok, so we can discuss here.... TerryB, I found another tape clue in the LK cases. What I am reading now is that the women's injuries were covered by tape. I do not know how this plays into everything, but I believe you mentioned tape in Jon Benet Ramsey.

Other inclusions to this is the wrapping or covering of the heads with clothing. JBR's head was covered as well, correct?

Nanette, JonBenet's mouth was covered with black gaffers tape, similar to duct tape but more narrow. It was placed on her mouth after she was already dead. The tape was reported to have been cut from the roll, not torn. Her body was said to be wrapped up like a papoose, except her legs were exposed. The loose end of the blanket was under her. Her pose was just like Elizabeth Short and Paul Stine, arms over her head bent 90 degrees at the elbow, her head cocked to the right, as best I recall. But her head covered? Not from what I've read. She was wearing over-sized underwear. Her body was said to have been wiped down.

Nanette, where did you find that Lipstick wall anagram? It's amazing to say the least.

I was not sure about what was covered, but she was covered. Some of the other crimes I have covered include victims that were covered by particles of clothing just like LK. Bottom half exposed and upper half covered.

TerryB, in my quest to chronologically order all the letters for examination, and I came across this...

Then we have this July 1978 letter, transcipt as follows:
Date: July 19, 1978
Mailed From: Los Angeles, CA
Sent To: San Francisco Chronicle

Typewritten letter:

I am the ZODIAC and I am in control of all things. I am going to tell you a secret. I like friction tape. I like to have it around in case I need to truss someone up in a hurry....I have my real name on a small metallic tape. You see, while you have it in your possession, I want you to know it belongs to me and you think I may have left it accidentally. I am athletic. It could be swim fins, or a piece of scuba gear. But maybe you play chess with me. I have several cheap sets in closets all over. I have my name on the bottom of the lid with the scotch tape....My tape is waiting for me all over California. Do you know me? I am the ZODIAC and I am in control.

It is on a word document that I must have cut and pasted from somewhere, but I do not even remember ever reading this. I need to source this letter???

Nanette- I remember reading that letter in Robert Graysmith's, Zodiac Unmasked. I'm sorry I can't give a specific page number; once I realized how much truth stretching Graysmith did in his books, I sold them to the used bookstore!
Hope this helps you track it down.

Edited to add: This site has the entire text of Zodiac Unmasked. The letter in question is on pg. 202. There does not appear to be much of a back story to it. Although, if you search for the word "scuba" in the document, there are several places where Graysmith discusses Arthur Leigh Allen's scuba diving abilities, which in Graysmith's world probably totally meant Allen was Z. Lol!

1978, that would have been about 9 years after the murder of Paul Stine.  The term "friction tape" as I've known it, is a cloth based electrical tape that doesn't adhere as much as most other forms of tape do. It relies on friction to get it to wrap around something. It does seem to me that some scuba divers did use friction tape.

Once again, this message from the Zodiac killer does seem to reinforce the Arthur Leigh Allen as a patsy idea.

Now that I'm reasonably familiar with the important information about the Zodiac killer crimes, I should read Graysmith's books. Though it might be a waste of time and add more confusion.

That was an awesome find TerryB, I will have to take a look at it. I was thinking now was probably the time for me to read his stuff too! I will have to but them though because I wouldn't be allowed to return it to the library after all the markups I do, LOL! Like BS BS BS and then some good stuff I hope.

I will be familiarizing myself with the letters as I write the significance up on each and examine the handwriting.

It seems to me that the Hennepin County library and Minneapolis public library systems didn't have copies of Graysmith's books. One key librarian told me that it might be because someone in that system deemed them as fiction? Perhaps I'll look them up under fiction? I sensed that this same librarian was somewhat familiar with the Zodiac killer case.

It seems that people like Graysmith and Hodel have some of the more obscure documents in their possession. If Hodel just wouldn't have put the wrong pictures he says are of E.Short in his book, I'd have revered him a long time ago. He also doesn't seem to follow the concept that his dad was loosely being set up as a fall guy. The Minotaur thing about his dad's friends art work is an interesting point but otherwise; there was never any firm evidence connecting that his father was the perpetrator, only suspicion because of the dissection of the victim's body.

I guess that I might read all of those books too, because now I can compartmentalize the information more accurately.

People are always looking for a direct motives in these cases when a more indirect path is what they need to envision.

I just read a few pages of the Graysmith book pdf that Jupiter linked regarding the encounter the patrolmen had with the killer in the Stine murder. I can't help but notice several disturbing aspects of that particular murder: 1) Why was the perp falsely reported as being black? 2) Why wasn't the suspect detained as a material witness? I've never seen or read a good or proper explanations for these things.

I did notice that the pictures of Jack Tarrance from that time frame show him as being kinda heavy, whereas the 1974 picture of him showed that he had lost considerable weight. Later on it looked as though he had re-gained a lot of weight.
