Amazing how my story hasn't changed isn't it. If Dennis has so little to do with his time that he is still trying to make me out to be the bad guy then I really feel sorry for him. We use to laugh about the people who had nothing better to do with their time than sit around and bash people, and it seems that is all he is doing...The pot calling the kettle black!

This case and DK has no bearing on my reputation with the exception of the wonderful people who post here. Hahahahahaha...... The annoying little rat turds that they are.

Yes, Dennis worked the situation in the garage with that phone book to the hilt. He now supposedly remembers that it was bought in a storage shed, year and everything. I'm callin his BS.... He obviously just wanted me to put in more hours on anything to keep me going rather than tell me the truth.

I thought that some of the writing in the address book looked like typical Zodiac Jack, the misspelled word "professional" in professional building certainly resembled Jacks writing and in sharpie too.

As you know Nanette; those crimes were Zodiac killer 101 except there haven't been any taunting letters posted, however the phone call to Dr. Danto telling him to "pray it doesn't snow" coupled with the fact that the child victims were laid out on "display" with washed and pressed clothes. I dare say that most pedophiles aren't all about murdering their victims and then having the nerve to display the victims with the risk that they might get caught doing so.

Sorry Dennis.... but to wait till you and Nanette have a falling out and then say the things you have about the address book seems contradictory to me, that address book has been on the subject list for quite some time.

I do believe that there is questionable writing in that phone book, and I will do a comparison for all to see. I am going to start from the beginning on this board with LK even though I think that there may have been killings before this by JT. This will be the basis for linking one killing to the next through Zodiac eyes.

Nanette, I think it's good to keep OCCK on the suspect list for several reasons despite anyone criticizing us for doing so. Again the MO fits the Zodiac killer, especially where the killer calls into Dr Danto and tells him "pray it doesn't snow", as you know; that's Zodiac Jack 101, add that to the other unique characteristics of the crimes and they are also Zodiac Jack 101, like the washing of the bodies and the cleaning and pressing of the clothes, history was repeating itself, it's the same sort of diabolical crimes that were attributed to these other cases.

The only thing missing are handwritten documents by the killer for us to examine, maybe there were some but LE was too stupid to attribute them as being part of the crime, or worse someone in LE intentionally removed them from the case.

Kinda like the missing J-Lo letter in the Amerithrax/anthrax case, that event seems fishy too. J-Lo.....get it? That whole building was sealed off within a few days of the attack, it doesn't make sense that that very letter would go missing so soon.

I have not heard anything about a Jo-Low letter, but I am connecting dots with everything right now.

Nanette, there's a guy named Ed Lake that has an extensive site on everything about the Anthrax attacks, he too is scratching his head about some of the things regarding the Justice Dept and the FBI but he still buys that the FBI is right about Bruce Ivans and takes their word for it !

He's fixated on Ivan's being guilty but from what I've read on his site there are many unanswered questions. I've emailed Ed and got frustrated with trying to get him to reconsider his thinking. It's likes he's talking out of two sides of his mouth regarding Ivans. I got fed up with his fixation on Ivans, so there was no getting through to him.

On his site he quoted  Robert Graysmith as saying that "the J-Lo letter was the key to the whole thing," I got Graysmith's book from the library and could find no such quote.

I do think that the J-Lo letter is Zodiac Jack 101, so are the other Amerithrax letters, they have the JT initials, cryptic acronyms, smart Alec tone and the same callous disregard for human life.  The envelopes have the four lines in the address box, the letters have the same missives. Nanette, I acknowledge that this was once again initially your finding, that amazes me, that's the prime reason that I have stuck it out with you.

The J-Lo letter was said to be a weird love letter to Jennifer Lopez, filled with sexual innuendo and a marriage proposal,  they said there was a small box of laundry soap that was open and in the powder was a cheap Star of David pendant, a cheap cigar and maybe something else but I don't recall what else there was at this time. I've been looking for a textual quote of it but to no avail. Again; the whole thing is Zodiac Jack 101. It's reported that the J-Lo letter did not have anthrax powder in it, it was the timing of it's arrival that was suspicious.

I don't give a damn who thinks we're crazy to include the Anthrax attacks as another one of Jacks crimes, 1) they don't have a good suspect 2) so far nothing excludes JT and everything about it is Zodiac Jack 101

Nanette, you and I both can't help but feel that the OCCK case is Zodiac Jack 101, it shared so many similarities to other cases and the perp(s) were very organized, it was totally in keeping with what the Zodiac killer bragged about; that being the fact that his next victims were gonna be children and that  no one would really know it was him because he basically said he was going underground.

The laying out of the kids on display, the washing of the clothes, the "pray it doesn't snow" message to Dr. Danto. Also the fact that one of the female victims was shot in the face again shows a greater contempt for women coupled with the fact that Timothy King was fed a last meal of KFC. It's too bad that there aren't any written documents from the killer, or none that were know of?

You and I both know that that address book was in JT's possession. The words Professional Building, with the same missive of being misspelled coupled with the fact that the phone numbers in it are very relevant to the cases, coupled especially with the fact that white dog hairs were found on all of the victims. Very diabolical stuff, very much in keeping with Zodiac Jack 101, just like JBR and Amerithrax share strikingly similar characteristics.

All of these case we've explored have shared patterns and striking similarities, as you know.

I am mostly interested in the suspect who killed himself "", being made part of a pedophile ring and the son of a GMAC exec who handled financial affairs for both US and international. Tracking the suspects in these cases may lead to some important clues, so this will be part of my work. I think that a pattern will begin to emerge when we add every aspect in and not just trying to pin it on JT.

Nanette, Chris Busch could have been murdered, LE holds all the cards. I and others think that Helgoth was murdered and stage as a suicide in the JBR case.

Nanette- I was wondering if I may discuss Jack's whereabouts during the time of these murders. Using some of the info on your Photobucket, I've pieced together what I believe his movements were. It does differ some from your re- construction, so if you'd like I could PM the info and you can decide whether it's relevant to post here.

Jupiter, go ahead and post your thoughts. I have limited information on JT while he was out of CA from 76-77 possibly thru 78. All I know is what is on the receipts and what Dennis has told me.

It seems that JT would normally go ahead and establish himself in another state and then get the family, so on many of his endeavors he went either alone, or in one instance with his brother as stated by a sister-in-law. Jack was also notorious for taking off for periods of time that lasted as long as six months, and this was constant behavior for him. While JT was in MN, he was approximately 12 hours from the crimes in MI, and had family that lived within a hour or so of them as well.

There is nothing more than a thought that he should be looked at for these crimes because there are elements that tie into others where writing has established his identity. Beings CA was free of serial murders during this same 76-78 period, and no communications from Z during this time, it is plausible that he was committing crimes somewhere else.

Also, the crimes sprees end as fast as they started that seems to coincide with JT's comings and goings.

TerryB, who is Helgoth? I am unfamiliar with this name.

Thanks, Nanette.
Amongst Jack’s belongings was a report for a Worker’s Comp claim, filled out by a Dr. Lavorgna. In the report, the doctor writes that he examined Jack in CA on 2/27/1976.  Jack told him he worked at the Cameron Park Shell Station in from March 1975 through December 1975. The Cameron Park Shell is in Placerville, CA. Jack’s presence in CA towards the end of 1975 is further supported by a handwritten bill of sale for a gun. On this paper, Jack puts his name and address (North Highlands, CA) and states the purchaser promises to pay the balance on or before 10/1/75.  On 3/15/76, Jack’s lawyer wrote him a letter and mailed it to the same North Highlands address, so Jack was still living in California in the first half of 1976. There is also an envelope from the Worker’s Comp Appeals board, postmarked 7/10/76, that is addressed to Jack at his home in North Highlands, CA.
In one of your presentations, you had a comment by Kaufman in which he says that the family moved to Cotton, MN in 1976, but moved to Austin, TX only a few months later in December 1976, because the weather got too cold. In another post on his board, Kaufman says that they moved to MN in June 1976, but left to Austin in 12/76 because of the cold. He also says that they stayed in Austin for almost 2 yrs on Thrasher Lane, near Jack's mother. He mentioned that he had pictures of the trailer that they lived in there in 1977.
The receipt for the purchase of dynamite in Cotton, MN is dated 10/19/76, which supports Kaufman's timeline. There are pics of trailers and such, but there doesn't appear to be any indication of when or where they were taken. But Charles Tarrance's birth certificate from November 1978 lists the Thrasher Lane address. I'll look to see if there is anything else that can show Kaufman was right about where the family was in '77 and '78.

Jupiter, I know for sure that Dennis said that JT returned to CA for the doctor's appointment by himself, and this should be another point of interest if any murders occurred during this visit to CA.

Dennis indicated that they moved from MN during winter, but anyone knows that winter starts in December and runs trough March which would mean 77, so as to his actual memory of their whereabouts during this time is in question in my mind. It is not until we see the pictures in TX in 77-78 that we know where he is at. Plus, this guy John Hatfield supposedly came to live with them in TX which is 77-78, and JT may have helped him move to TX himself. There is no way of knowing really. The rest of the time frame I will have to research my notes, and what I have been told versus the actual receipts and picture time line. I will do this in my new examination of the case which will exonerate or include JT in these crimes as a possibility. We shall see...

Maybe Dennis got the Dr. Lavorgna visit confused with another visit Jack made to CA after the family moved to MN? The documentation suggests that Jack was still living in CA when he went to see Dr. Lavorgna in 2/76, at the same address where he was living the previous fall (10/75) when he sold the gun. The letter sent from Jack’s lawyer in 3/76 contained the report from Dr. Lavorgna and this letter was mailed to that North Highlands, CA address. Maybe when the family moved to MN later in 1976, Jack had to travel again to CA for another doctor visit or some other reason pertaining to his Worker’s Comp claim, and that is the trip that Dennis remembers?

A few years ago in the "Possibly connected to Zodiac suspect Jack Tarrance. Unsolved homicide with DNA evidence" thread, Dennis told BARman that the family moved to MN in June of 1976 and that they stayed about 6 months, moving when it got cold. I don't know why he told you they moved to MN in the winter and told BARman they moved in summer. I'm assuming he was fairly young then, so maybe he's foggy on the details. The letters and doctor reports seem to support a June move rather than a winter one. They would have then been in TX in '77 and '78, which is consistent with Hatfield moving in with them during that time.

Sorry, I didn't mean to confuse anyone, I meant that the move during winter was when they moved from MN to TX. And, yes there was some visit to the doctor that JT went back to CA for alone. Dennis said it was too cold, and that is why they left MN.

There are supposedly letters from Z that occured when they left, and when they returned coinciding with the move to MN, and the return to CA.
