I found this interesting in my latest research.

John Walsh received the infamous Scorpion letters in 1991 per his site, so I thought I would throw this out there for conversational purposes.

I ran across the 1991 Yogurt Shop Murders that is still unsolved until today.

The reason I bring this up together here is because "Scorpion" claimed that he had been/would be committing crimes that would otherwise look like random arsons, burglary, and other acts of violence. Claiming to live in New Jersey.

The Yogurt Shop Murders occurred December 6, 1991 in Austin, TX.

I have Jack in Dale, TX for sure by 2-92 via sales receipts for a pickup truck. This is a mere 36 miles from the crime, and the crime consisted of stacking three of the girls bodies on top of each other, and setting them a blaze.

There was detected sexual abuse, I believe. But, the cops figured it to be a robbery gone arson after all went bad.

Now, I do not think it is too far fetched due to the Zodiac cases, to think that the Scorpion is naturally lying about his whereabouts, but what he has done or is about to do, if you put into play the predicting of crimes like Z, you have the making of another related crime.

I still need to pin down the precise timing of Jack's return, but he is definitely back in TX by early 1992 and through a break up with Nora whereby she returns to TX with him Nov-Dec 92. With time on his hands and proximity, why does it seem that the crimes gravitate around Jack? My guess is that Jack returned to TX during Thanksgiving or Christmas as he so often did, and never went back to CA.

To think that DK believed that Jack Tarrance worked for HP from 83-93. I have narrowed this field to at least 84-85 with no contradiction until his appearance back in TX 92.

In Nora's diaries, she talks about just having to get out of wherever they happen to be, and of course her reasons sound legitimate, but I just think it is funny that they continue to return to a place they just have to leave. It seems, Jack was on the go all the time, and never really settled anywhere. Poor Charles...

Stacking three bodies and setting them ablaze? Wow, very weird indeed.

Well, it actually fits the Scorpions taunt completely... Arson, burglary, and random acts of violence.

BTW, check out the fanciful capital "f's" in the Scorpion letters a mere 5 years previous to the Jon Benet Ramsey ransom note.... I know JMK isn't our suspect for any of these communications...

Ok, let's compare them to JMK"S too, because "style wise" they resemble several of Zodiac Jacks f's.
BTW, om what thread do you have the Scorpion letters? They're certainly not on this thread.

I'm not interested in beating dead bushes and posting more of JMK's handwriting it is only a waste of my available space. He has already been ruled out, and I have no desire... I already have his role figured out, but I am more than happy to post the Scorpion letters for your pleasure.

My point here is that no matter how many people may be taking part in this gross abuse of human life, there is only one true author of all these letters, and Scorpion has made this identification long before many others had in my mind.

Well, it's certainly Zodiac Jack 101. I do note that he capitalized the F in "factual".
I don't know Nanette but it's like you're reading a different message than the one I'm sending?  It's like you're missing my points regarding the Karr/SBTC thing and the Goldman Sachs letter. I'm not saying that with certainty that Karr penned the damn Goldman Sachs letter. I'm saying I'm not certain that Tarrance did so either. Other than these two, to my minds eye, all of the rest of the documents look like Zodiac Jack's handwriting to me.
Don't forget that you an I waded through those lousy Tracey/Karr emails and found ample evidence that Jack was involved, or it was someone that was worried about impending death by a heart attack! And if you recall, I was lobbying you to look into them with me.

I find it interesting that he's commenting on his encoded messages and that they should be easy to decode. He says: "once the limited patterns and systems are discovered. Yet on another letter he's bragging about challenging the FBI and CIA code-breakers. Here's a couple of ideas and approach that I'd like to see taken on the 340 cipher. He says: limited patterns and systems. BTW, I didn't know anything about giving the figures a 1/4 turn, so that's another thing to consider as well. Idea number one: The 340 cipher has markings that tend to show that it's laid out in quadrants. One of the Zodiac killer documents that has four quadrants has the By Fire, By gun etc threats in each quadrant, perhaps these are the key that should be used in those quadrants respectively? Now recall "Jack's hypnotic symbol" how it also has quadrants and a circles with arrows on direction. I believe that this drawing is a pattern of the essence of how celestial navigation proceeds. The idea would be to work the 340 cipher in a circle rather than line by line, get it? He did indicate 'limited patterns". When he used the term "systems", that where I'd need to become more of an expert in this art, in order to know how to proceed.

BTW or, "Buy the way", ha ha ha. These Scorpion letters are written as though he assumes that it's obvious that the reader knows he's talking about the Zodiac killer documents too. Or, that's at least how I interpret it? While organized serial killers have several traits in common, like adding their initials, or taunting the cops, I doubt that damn few, to almost none of them deal in encoded messages. Now, ones that are part of organized crime might certainly use encoded messages. As a matter of fact, there is at least one episode of the old Untouchables TV show where the gangsters used encoded message. This had to do with giving their associates tips in the gambling business. They used a newspaper to encrypt their messages in and the associates had a paper to compare it to in order to extract the message within. This way they didn't have to risk sending individual messages that could be intercepted.

Very interesting comments on the 340. This would be exactly the type of game that Jack would play. The parts that stand out to me in this letter series is that Walsh like Voigt were very obviously communicating with the Zodiac Killer and knew it. Why redact information if the letters are "fake." Easy answer, they are not. This means that Voigt and Walsh are in the know. Depending on when Scorpion contacted Walsh, I believe that the new MO of arson is to be directed at the Yogurt Shop Murders in 1991 in Texas. Also, this is where I picked up many of the systems that Jack used from early on.

These letters reveal some of the biggest information revealed so far, and they lead right into the Tom Voigt Letters. Tom Voigt has been on John Walsh's America's Most Wanted several times with my mentor who tried to deter me from looking at Dennis' case seriously.

The 340 and 408 ciphers have their own story, and each time the same message is being reiterated and reinstated with every breath of this author.

Prediction of John Ramsey for being a part of something he shouldn't have. The rest of the taunts were for show!
