I believe that JT followed BD from Chicago back through Texarkana, and then onto Florida. I will begin this thread next and highlight the coincidences, and other stories that JT told DK throughout their talks.

Similarities of the Texarkana murders as compared to Zodiac...

1. Couples on lover's lane

2. Black hood used in crime

3. Southern drawl and linguistics, "take off your britches"

4. No negotiating with suspect, "he has to kill them"

5. Chasing of female like prey

6. Smack dab in the middle of LK murders, Florida Lover's lane and Black Dahlia

Dennis told me that JT had mentioned that he had gotten himself in trouble with LE aside from the murders. In doing so, he was arrested and his .32 caliber gun was taken by LE. He claims that at that time, the Judge's home was publicly known by a sign in his yard, and he went to the Judge's house after being released, and asked the Judge for his gun back knowing that it could be tied to the current murders. The Judge supposedly escorted JT back to the police dept. and returned JT's gun to him.

Now this story could have been pure BS on both JT's and DK's part, but why tell it??? DK wasn't investigating any other crimes, only Zodiac.

There is no handwriting in this case to my knowledge which would be surprising considering JT's need to be recognized, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was, and it either; wasn't divulged by LE or they dismissed it as a hoax...

This is almost confirmation that DK was right when he claimed that JT stated he left Letha 3 days later and returned to the Texarkana area for the Texarkana Phantom murders. Letha listed herself as an Oklahoma native, and at some point Jack moved her back out to Oklahoma. This address is listed in a 1980 will for Lena Adair who named Jack twice. Once as Jack Tarrance in Welling, OK and as J. W. Tarrance of 4428 Auburn Blvd. Spc. 36, Sacramento, CA 95841. Which turns out to be across the street from the current FBI office on Orange Grove...

This is also supported by an affidavit from a neighbor in this CBS 13 News release with Kris Pickel.

Note: The resident indicates 1979, and the FBI office as far as I can tell was built in 1995.... Kind of hilarious if you ask me!

Also, you have the letter from Atsugi, Japan in Feb. 1955 to the Boiler Maker's Union stating that he had left Little Rock without putting in his withdrawal card, so I think that we have solid evidence that Jack frequented this middle state area without question from 1946 until probably 1953-54. But, I have evidence that he kept the PO Box in Oklahoma until the 70's or 80's and I will put that up shortly. Either way, Jack's own family knew him as J.W. and Jack, but no mention of a John that we see him use later.

This is a work in progress, and much research is still being done, but I thought I might catch everyone up to where I am in the combining of timelines, murders, and letters.

I really didn't think I would have much to say on the Texarkana Murders, but WOW!
